TERRIBLE-TERRIFIC/TERRIBLE-HORROR
Curated by the lost media archive, this collection of extremely weird horror clips celebrates film made by outsiders... That is to say, film made by ANYONE BUT film industry insiders. As with any of our OUTSIDER programs, this show is garunteed to leave audiences asking "what were they thinking?!". Even better, it's a sociology, psycology, and media-archeology lesson!

ELiZA WREN - live score to Return to Oz (1985)
Preview!
It has been over 15 years since two stoned college
students realized that watching MGM’s Wizard of Oz
while listening to Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon
revealed hidden connections and meanings that Pink
Floyd possibly didn’t even intend. The world was
changed forever. And now, Eliza Wren invites you to
make a new discovery. In 1985, Disney released a
brilliant, visually inventive, experimental sequel to
MGMs classic Technicolor musical. We all have some
sort of twisted memory of seeing this film- with the
Wheelers, a hall of heads without bodies, A young
Fairuza Balk as Dorothy trapped in a mental hospital,
a flying couch with a moose head to guide it and so
much more! Revisit this overlooked masterpiece with
the original music of Eliza Wren, (dream/nightmare
rock w/ an array of instruments from the banjo to the
toy piano. Synchronicity never sounded so good! 5
years in the making! Come see the sneak preview for
this amazing show! www.elizawren.com
